# Quick Repeater Commands

### Use those commands for your Ottawa repeater

To access the command line use [https://meshcore.io/flasher](https://meshcore.io/flasher) top right console, or connect to the repeater with you companion using admin console in the repeater contact on your companion:

1. `set path.hash.mode 2`
2. `set advert.interval 240`
3. `set flood.advert.interval 47`
4. `set flood.max 16`
5. `set loop.detect moderate`
6. `region def yow|* on|* onqc|* can|* na`
7. `region allowf *`
8. `region default yow`
9. `region save`

# Channel between Ottawa and Montréal

### \#onqc

We started using the meshcore channel #onqc to chat with Montréal through the region wall (Rigaud) in a flood # group channel. the way to do this is to add the channel then, in the channel, click the top right 3 dots, then set region scope.

If the list is empty then you can populate the region list in 3 dots, tools, discover regions then check onqc, OR in settings default region scope, +, add region onqc.

Sending a message with onqc passes through to Montréal, but Montréal has to add the same onqc region scope on the #onqc channel for their reply to pass through the region wall as well and be a 2 way communication.
