You are wondering if Meshcore or Meshtastic is better in Ottawa?

Meshtastic was here first, but Meshcore replaced it progressively in Ottawa. The Meshcore infrastructure is now so widespread, that Meshtastic feels quite dead here now. You can try both, but the result should speak for itself, Meshcore is very active and now reaching Montréal from Ottawa.

Antenna choice

Your companion probably comes with a small stubby antenna, if you want an upgrade you may be tempted to buy one on Amazon without testing it, and it may give you a worse result. We have tested a few antennas for you that will actually do what they claim to do and give you better signal
